We are a staffing agency seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to work on-site at one of our food manufacturing warehouse clients. Not remote. This is a 100% in-warehouse role.
Work environment: This is a cold warehouse. You must be comfortable working in refrigerated conditions for the full shift (appropriate jackets and boots required).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and separate receiving and shipping inventory (inbound vs outbound)
- Receive, verify, and record incoming products and materials
- Prepare and stage products for outbound shipments
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in the system
- Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS and/or Excel
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Communicate with supervisors and production to ensure correct stock levels
- Follow food safety, quality, and warehouse SOPs at all times
- Use electric pallet jack safely to move pallets and product
