Job Roles and Responsibilities

Budget & Resource Management:

• Control and maintain assigned locations within set operational budgets.
• Oversee work scheduling for all account personnel.

Sales & Business Development:

• Generate new account sales and develop business opportunities across D&A's services.
• Identify and qualify prospective clients through cold calling and other prospecting activities.
• Establish relationships with management-level decision makers.
• Develop and implement initiatives to achieve sales goals.
• Manage assigned territories, account plans, organizational reporting, and call frequency.

Estimating, Bidding & Proposals:

• Prepare proposals and participate in bids for commercial and governmental entities.
• Develop estimates and budgets for prospective accounts.
• Prepare, deliver, and present proposals.
• Participate in the initial setup of new accounts.
• Support contract negotiations with management approval.

Account & Contract Management:

• Oversee contract operations as required.
• Review and analyze P&L statements for contracts under administration to ensure they are profitable and properly managed.
• Maintain contract profit margins within company-established parameters.
• Follow operating policies, procedures, budgets, and organizational goals.
• Monitor activities and achievements across assigned functions.

Client Relations & Quality Control:

• Serve as the day-to-day liaison with building administrative personnel.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and provide timely responses.
• Conduct quality-control inspections as needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and fulfillment of contract requirements.
• Communicate client requirements, performance issues, and opportunities to management.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.

Business & Market Development:

• Attend conferences, lunches, association events, and other business-related activities with customers and industry organizations.
• Maintain awareness of competitors and marketplace conditions affecting the business.
• Prepare daily activity reports and organizational updates.

Travel:

• Occasional overnight travel is required to fulfill job responsibilities and sales goals.

Qualifications and Certifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; OR
• 4 years of experience in the janitorial industry with operating and sales experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Prior experience in facilities management or contractual service sales is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
