Summary
Join a growing outpatient healthcare team as a Part-Time/ Full-Time X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) and play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care.
This permanent opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to producing accurate diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Work alongside experienced healthcare professionals using modern imaging technology in a supportive, patient-focused setting with opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
- Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Position patients accurately while maintaining radiation safety and ALARA standards.
- Produce clear, diagnostic-quality images while minimizing repeat examinations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team.
- Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and complies with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT (R) Certification required.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Previous X-ray or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
- Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
Schedule
- Part-Time/ Full-Time
- Flexible scheduling available
Compensation
- $35.00–$50.00 per hour (based on experience)
