Job Summary Kennesaw State University is hiring part‑time, limited‑term faculty for the academic year 2025‑2026 in the Department of Construction Management. Positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis with rank determined at hiring and commensurate with credentials. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Construction Management, delivering high‑quality instruction (in‑person and online) in at least one specialization: Heavy/Civil (including DOT construction) Construction Survey/Layout Construction Finance Construction Estimating Construction Safety MEP Systems Construction Law Collaborate with colleagues across the College and contribute to a positive, productive academic environment. Required Qualifications To teach undergraduate courses: A minimum of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Construction Management or a closely related discipline, or a non‑related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline. To teach graduate courses: A Terminal/Doctorate degree (or foreign equivalent) in Construction Management or a closely related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Record of engaging undergraduate and graduate students in research. Related commercialization success. Applied industry‑focused research. National and/or international student competition coaching experience. Experience teaching online or hybrid courses. Current or previously licensed professional surveyor conversant with construction layout.
