Adjunct Faculty - Mathematics

Position Overview Adjunct Faculty – Mathematics at Blue Ridge Community College, Augusta Location. Part‑time, exempt, paid $793–$1693 per credit hour. Key Responsibilities and Duties Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in mathematics on a combination of day, evening, online, and/or hybrid formats. Prepare and deliver course materials, assessments, and grades in accordance with college policies. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Adhere to emergency/essential personnel requirements as directed by the agency or state government. Perform any other duties assigned by the college. Qualifications Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline. Demonstrated teaching ability; a teaching demonstration may be required. Proficiency in delivering courses in day, evening, online, or hybrid formats. Employment Conditions Work schedule may be a combination of day, evening, online, and/or hybrid courses. The position may require emergency response support as directed. No travel required.
