Job Title: Customer Service Representative-Administrative

Location: Spencer, IA 51301
Duration: 1-Month Contract (Potential Extension or Conversion to Full-Time)

Job Description

• We are seeking a Customer Service Representative - Administrative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer communications, order processing, invoicing, and account support and a proven ability to resolve inquiries, maintain accurate records, and support customer retention.

 

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound telephone inquiries and provide clear, professional support.
• Promote products and services in alignment with organizational guidelines.
• Communicate with customers regarding orders and financial account matters.
• Generate, enter, and manage customer orders; prepare and issue invoices.
• Research and resolve complaints to support customer satisfaction and retention.
• Perform tasks within assigned customer group, geography, or product line.
• Demonstrate teamwork, follow-up discipline, accuracy, and attention to detail.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent oral communication and clear verbal interaction with customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow instructions with moderate supervision.
• Intermediate computer skills for data entry, data edits, and email correspondence.
• Active listening, problem clarification, and basic problem-solving and decision-making.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, professionalism, and courteous service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior administrative or customer service experience.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook; web navigation using Internet Explorer or similar browsers.
• Familiarity with basic order management and invoicing processes.
