Music Content Analyst for AI Training

Music professionals can apply their expertise to enhance AI systems that analyze and interpret music. This role is designed for individuals with a formal background in music or substantial experience as musicians, who possess excellent listening skills and a comprehensive understanding of musical composition and vocal performance. Key Responsibilities

• Lyric Review & Song Structure: Verify and correct song lyrics for accuracy, ensuring proper classification into sections such as verse, chorus, and bridge.
• Vocal Analysis: Identify the number of vocalists in each track and determine their genders based on audio analysis.
• Engage in project work that includes developing domain-specific prompts and evaluating AI responses.
• Work independently in a remote and asynchronous environment, committing approximately 10 to 20 hours per week.

• Current students or graduates with a degree in Music, Music Theory, Music Composition, or a related field.
• Professional experience as a performing, recording, or touring musician.
• Strong auditory skills for pitch, harmony, vocal layering, and arrangement.
• Familiarity with various song structures across different genres.
• High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.

This position allows for flexible hours and remote work. Candidates should be prepared to manage their own schedule while meeting project deadlines.

Compensation is up to $50/hr, depending on the project.

This program is open to U.S.-based students, candidates, and recent graduates with valid work or training authorization (e.g., F-1/OPT, J-1, H-1B). Participants must ensure compliance with their visa conditions and confirm eligibility with their program or visa sponsor prior to applying. F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects, but must verify their eligibility with their Designated School Official. STEM OPT is not supported.
