Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Summary: Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. Job Details Shift: 12 hours rotating Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Qualifications Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel. Must have 18 months of recent Stepdown experience; travel experience will suffice. Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts 1/1/23 and forward. AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required and must be active with nothing pending. ECG rhythm recognition test and MedicateTM will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass; otherwise, will be canceled. One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Non-supervisory references will not be considered, and profile will be rejected. Vaccinations COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Background and Drug Screening BG hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but will not accept any traveler with an open case. Facility does not accept any license hits. Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. Must be updated annually. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements. Additional Requirements PAPRs: PAPRs will not be considered an alternative for caregivers with facial hair except for those with an approved agency medical or religious exemption. Badging and Fingerprinting: Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints at the facility prior to their start date.
