Technical Service Representative

Salary: $74,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a Bachelor of Science degree, Associate degree, or a technical/trade certification.
• Coursework in refrigeration, HVAC, or electronics is a plus.
• We require strong verbal communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
• We value sound judgment and the ability to make decisions independently.
• We require solid computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products.
• We need someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow multi-step procedures.
• We prefer the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Three years of experience in technical service or sales is preferred.
• We require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and familiarity with machines and tools.

• We respond to customer and sales representative product questions by phone and email.
• We provide technical support for refrigeration equipment during product selection, installation, operation, maintenance, and application.
• We dispatch service calls to independent field service organizations.
• We identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions for service issues.
• We document all service events accurately in IssueTrak, keeping records clear and concise.
• We determine required spare parts and coordinate repair part deliveries in the field.
• We support customers and sales representatives across North America through phone, fax, email, and mail.
• We help coordinate and deliver technical training for new team members and outside sales representatives.
• We work with Sales, Marketing, and Executive Management to keep product information current.
• We use computer information systems for data retrieval and order entry.
• We attend workshops, seminars, trade shows, distributor meetings, and other training events as assigned.
• We may take on additional duties as needed.
• We may travel occasionally to support customers with complex issues and to attend training.
