Project Geologist (PG Licensed) – Environmental Consulting Direct Hire | Full-Time | $115,000–$150,000+ DOE Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: Santa Ana, CA We are a growing environmental consulting firm providing a full range of environmental engineering, planning, compliance, remediation, and construction services throughout California. We are seeking a motivated and experienced California Licensed Professional Geologist (PG) who enjoys both field and office work and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. What We Offer Competitive salary: $115K–$150K+ DOE Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Profit Sharing Plan Paid vacation starting in your first year Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable full-time employment with long-term career potential Supportive, open-door culture with mentorship from senior staff Key Responsibilities Prepare and review technical reports, regulatory documents, and field documentation with a strong emphasis on high-quality technical writing Conduct and oversee: Site investigations Subsurface exploration Groundwater monitoring Environmental site assessments Interpret environmental data and develop practical remediation solutions Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies professionally and effectively Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and scope development Mentor and collaborate with junior staff in both field and office settings Qualifications Active California Professional Geologist (PG) license – REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) 4–8 years of environmental consulting experience Strong technical writing and documentation skills Experience with groundwater monitoring, remediation systems, and environmental investigations Familiarity with California environmental regulations and agency processes Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refresher Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to pass pre-employment and annual drug/alcohol screening Why Join Us?
