Light Metal Assembly – 1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM Friday: 6:00 AM–10:30 AM Pay: $15.55/hour
Job Summary: We are looking for dependable candidates to join our team performing light metal assembly. This position involves assembling small metal components, operating a low-impact press, and completing repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble light metal components according to work instructions.
- Operate a low-impact press and other basic production equipment.
- Count and inspect parts for accuracy and quality.
- Perform repetitive grasping, pinching, and hand movements.
- Sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the work area as needed.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work at a quick but thorough pace while maintaining quality.
- Follow safety procedures and production instructions.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and assembly movements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with sitting, standing, bending, grasping, and pinching throughout the workday.
- Good attention to detail and ability to accurately count parts.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced assembly role. You should be able to work quickly while still taking the time to do the job correctly.
