Position Title: Presales / Solutions Sales Lead (Payments & Financial Infrastructure) Location: Southern California (Hybrid) —— Role Overview We are seeking a highly capable Solutions Sales Lead to support the expansion of our US market across cross-border payments and financial infrastructure products. This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and solution architecture. You will work closely with commercial, product, compliance, and financial institution partners to translate market needs into scalable payment solutions and drive early-stage commercial traction. You will be responsible for enabling market execution by bridging customer requirements with internal capabilities and ensuring solutions are effectively designed, positioned, and deployed for real transaction flow. This is not a traditional quota-carrying sales role, but a solution-driven market execution role focused on enabling product-market fit in a new region. —— Key Responsibilities Engage with prospective clients to understand payment and financial workflow requirements Design end-to-end payment solutions including collection, payout, FX, and settlement flows Translate complex client requirements into structured solution proposals and technical/business requirements Partner with product and engineering teams to define implementation scope 2. Market Enablement Identify key use cases and market entry opportunities within cross-border payments Support definition of market priorities based on commercial impact and feasibility Help shape go-to-market strategy for US expansion 3. Cross-functional Execution Work closely with product, compliance, operations, and financial institution teams Drive alignment across stakeholders to enable solution delivery Support resolution of operational or structural blockers to launch readiness 4. Client Engagement & Early Traction Lead solution discussions with strategic clients and partners Support early transactions and pilot programs Gather structured market feedback to inform product iteration and roadmap 5. Infrastructure-to-Business Translation Leverage existing financial infrastructure (banking, licensing, payment rails) to build commercially viable solutions Identify gaps between current capabilities and market requirements Continuously refine solution architecture based on real usage —— Required Qualifications 6–12 years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services Strong understanding of payment systems, including: Cross-border payments FX and settlement flows Card acquiring or payout systems Experience in solution design, presales, or payment consulting roles Exposure to financial institution ecosystems (banks, PSPs, payment networks, ISVs) Proven ability to work cross-functionally in matrix organizations Strong commercial intuition with ability to translate client needs into executable solutions Comfortable operating in ambiguity and early-stage market environments —— Preferred Background Experience at companies such as: Experience launching new markets or payment corridors Exposure to embedded finance or platform-based payment models Experience working with enterprise or platform clients —— What Success Looks Like Clear articulation of market requirements translated into actionable product and infrastructure needs Successful delivery of early-stage payment flows and transaction activity in the US market Strong alignment between commercial opportunity and internal capability execution Effective collaboration across product, compliance, and financial institution partners Establishment of scalable solution frameworks for future market expansion #J-18808-Ljbffr CGL Consulting Co., Ltd
