Position Description:

Under the direction of the Department Director, the Transporter is responsible for the transportation of patients by wheelchair or gurney between the emergency room and the patient's room to the C T, Nuclear Medicine or MRI in a safe manner. Is also responsible for processing daily charges generated in C T.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:

• Previous radiology or hospital experience preferred. May be trained on the job with experience working with geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric.
• Must be at least 18 years of age. General education level.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• Current BLS Certification.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
