Quality Control Visual Inspection Technician

Regeneron seeks a QC Visual Inspection Technician to perform manual visual inspection of drug product packaging and medical device components in Rensselaer, New York. The role ensures materials meet quality standards and supports compliance with cGMP requirements and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual visual inspection of drug product packaging and medical device components using light boxes and microscopes
- Evaluate and characterize defects using inspection tools such as magnifiers, size charts, and optical comparators
- Complete, review, and reconcile inspection records and logbooks for cGMP compliance
- Maintain laboratory supplies and perform routine maintenance activities
- Communicate inspection findings to team members and support timely resolution of quality issues
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum; associate degree in physical or biological science preferred
- 2+ years experience in quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing for Technician II level
- 5+ years experience in quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing for Technician III level
- Ability to pass visual acuity exam according to standard operating procedures
- Sustained attention to detail and adherence to inspection procedures
- Proficiency with computerized systems for documentation and inspection tasks
Compensation: $18.94-$33.99 hourly
