Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist in surgical procedures as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in a fast-paced operating room environment. Provide support to surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe patient care during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile equipment and supplies.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments and providing necessary tools.
• Maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Manage surgical instrument trays and ensure proper sterilization and organization.
• Monitor and document surgical counts and specimen labels accurately.
• Assist in post-operative cleanup and setup for subsequent surgeries.

Qualifications:

• Valid CST certification required with at least 1 year of OR experience.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a surgical setting, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and uphold safety and infection control standards.
