Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our dynamic team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in our Urgent Care Center (UCC) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU)! Role Overview: In this role, you'll provide expert care to patients experiencing oncologic emergencies and support those transitioning to our short-stay Observation Unit. Key Qualifications: Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) A Minimum of 2+ years of clinical RN or NP experience Related National NP certification BLS/ ACLS certification Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred OR Graduate from an accredited PA program NCCPA certification Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure BLS/ACLS certification Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred Core Skills: Proven ability to make timely and effective decisions that drive the organization forward. Skilled at navigating and working effectively in environments with sophisticated and sometimes conflicting information. Adept at planning and prioritizing tasks to meet commitments that align with organizational goals. Effective at gaining support and commitment from others by engaging them with your perspective and priorities. Demonstrates flexibility in approach and demeanor, adapting to evolving circumstances and shifting demands. Additional Information: Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY Hours:13.5-hour shifts, This is a night position, 7p - 8:30a, with weekend and holiday rotation required. (12 shifts every 4 weeks) Reports to: Director, APP Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually You’ll also receive a 10% night differential — plus another 10% for any weekend hours worked!
