Quality Supervisor

Quality SupervisorTwin Disc is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead our Inspection Department in Racine, WI. This role is responsible for supervising inspection personnel, prioritizing inspection workflows, and ensuring all inspection activities meet quality system standards.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in machining inspection, CMM programming, and GD&T, as well as a passion for continuous improvement and team development.Leadership & SupervisionLead, mentor, and supervise a team of 5–10 Quality InspectorsProvide coaching and training on inspection techniques, gaging, and quality proceduresFoster a safe, accountable, and collaborative work environmentQuality & Inspection OversightPrioritize inspection schedules to support manufacturing throughputEnsure inspections are conducted accurately and in compliance with quality standardsReview inspection results and determine proper disposition of materialsMaintain accurate quality records for compliance and traceabilityTechnical & Systems SupportDevelop, edit, and maintain CMM and VICIVISION inspection programsProvide technical guidance on GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and gage selectionSupport calibration programs and non-conformance processesEscalate quality issues requiring corrective actionContinuous Improvement & CollaborationPartner with manufacturing and engineering to resolve quality issuesParticipate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and internal auditsSupport production and special project inspections as neededStay current with industry best practices and ISO 9001 standardsQualificationsRequired5+ years of machining experience in an ISO 9001 (or similar) environment5+ years of hands-on inspection experience2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience3+ years of CMM programming experienceStrong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint readingProficiency with precision gaging tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)ERP system experienceProficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsPreferredPC-DMIS programming experienceTechnical or engineering degreeCalibration experienceWhat We're Looking ForHands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong organizational and time-management skillsTeam-oriented mindset with cross-functional collaboration abilityCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementWork EnvironmentOn-site role in Racine, WIMinimal to no travel requiredWhy Join Twin Disc?Competitive compensation and incentive programsFlexible work schedule supporting work-life balanceComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with generous employer matchPaid time off and wellness programsCollaborative team with diverse experience and expertiseApply TodayJoin Twin Disc and play a key role in driving quality excellence in a world-class manufacturing environment.Equal Opportunity EmployerTwin Disc is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
