Responsibilities: Perform tests of varying complexity on new, existing, and competitive materials and products. Ensure testing documentation is complete and comply with current practice. Communicates test results; assists with analysis of data and writing of test reports related to test procedures and results. Supports overall lab maintenance and improvements, including maintenance and improvement of existing test apparatus. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the CPC lab. Adheres to all safety regulations. Demonstrates support of CPC core values. Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications: Basic Requirements: AS degree in related science. Strong mechanical knowledge is desired with a strong technical aptitude. Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches). Experience in executing tests and data recording in a lab setting. Experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic based tests. Experience in writing/improving work instructions. Strong initiative and passion for learning. Experience with prototype builds, test fixture design. Basic knowledge with CAD. This role may require less than 5% of travel domestically. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
