Material Handler

Job Responsibilities:

Major duties include material handling of warehouse inventory, forklift operations, stocking and pulling material, packing, and boxing devices, transferring items physically and systematically, and performing transactions within automated computer systems.
Requires the ability to remain focused under stress in a highly dynamic area and perform all functions with 100% accuracy.

Skills:

2-3 years material handling experience along with high level computer experience, detail oriented and organized.
Previous experience in either shipping, receiving, or warehousing.
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under extreme pressure.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to sit or stand for 8+ hours per day. Ability to use hands and fingers (manual dexterity).
Possess good eyesight, both near and far.
Must be able to lift to 25-50 lbs occasionally and have previous forklift experience.

Education/Experience:

High School or General Education Degree (GED), May have an Associate’s Degree
