Material Handler
SGS Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Major duties include material handling of warehouse inventory, forklift operations, stocking and pulling material, packing, and boxing devices, transferring items physically and systematically, and performing transactions within automated computer systems.
- Requires the ability to remain focused under stress in a highly dynamic area and perform all functions with 100% accuracy.
Skills:
- 2-3 years material handling experience along with high level computer experience, detail oriented and organized.
- Previous experience in either shipping, receiving, or warehousing.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under extreme pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to sit or stand for 8+ hours per day. Ability to use hands and fingers (manual dexterity).
- Possess good eyesight, both near and far.
- Must be able to lift to 25-50 lbs occasionally and have previous forklift experience.
Education/Experience:
- High School or General Education Degree (GED), May have an Associate’s Degree
