Phlebotomist Float

Position Overview Float Phlebotomist – Labcorp – Broken Arrow, Owasso & Sapulpa, OK and surrounding cities. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday between the hours of 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Hours will vary and rotating weekends and holidays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 years or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. At least 21 years old. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Float Incentive Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
