Work Environment\n

This role will be conducted remotely, enabling our counselors to maintain a work-life balance while delivering essential mental health services. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured routine conducive to both professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and crisis interventions for patients, effectively identifying their emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to report on patient progress, address any emerging concerns, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation, including clinical notes and progress reports, in accordance with departmental policies and best practices.

• Engage in the development of personalized treatment plans, including discharge plans, informed by psychosocial assessments and evidence-based interventions.

• Build and strengthen connections with community resource leaders, representing Empower Well Health Care Center in meetings and committees dedicated to advocating for patient social needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position caters to a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents grappling with a spectrum of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By employing a compassionate and tailored approach to treatment, you will directly support individuals in overcoming their challenges and achieving lasting recovery outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of an independent license: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical mental health setting is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with experience in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and community-based services will be strongly preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health records management will also be advantageous for those looking to excel in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
