Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as a proactive point of contact for families, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the therapeutic process.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing our clinical model and the Attachment-Based Family Therapy approach to promote healing.
\n
• Conduct Family Orientations and lead Welcome Presentations and Family Support Groups to educate and support families in navigating the treatment process.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to established standards to ensure the highest level of care.
\n
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other digital tools, such as Microsoft Word and Outlook, to accurately enter and manage client data.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team and staff meetings to collaborate on case management and share insights, as well as engage in clinical supervision for professional development.
\n
• Manage your schedule independently to efficiently meet client needs and achieve therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves adolescents and young adults dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and familial conflicts. Our approach is centered on building authentic connections with clients and their families to foster trust and facilitate healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited program.
\n
• Active registration as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or a Psychological Associate in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing individual, group, or family therapy specifically tailored for adolescents and young adults.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients facing mental health issues, substance abuse, trauma, or eating disorders is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and a background in trauma-informed care will be beneficial.

• Attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, complemented by a potential sign-on bonus.
