Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the intensity, duration, and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients, establishing a clear baseline for treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique experiences, goals, and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to mental health care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement effective treatment interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to support evolving client needs and improve outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research and treatment methodologies for mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic practices and effectiveness.

• Maintain confidential and accurate client records in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Advocate for clients to combat mental health stigma and ensure their needs are met within and outside the clinic.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, focusing primarily on individuals and families struggling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
