CNC Machinist – Lathe Location: Clifton, NJ Join my client’s precision manufacturing team and help produce critical components for the aerospace, defense, industrial, and commercial industries. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to machine high‑quality parts that support essential technologies while working in a safety‑focused, team‑oriented environment. Full‑time position with overtime opportunities. What You’ll Be Doing Set up and operate CNC lathe machines machining aluminum investment castings. Read blueprints, setup sheets, and engineering drawings. Perform tooling changes, offsets, inspections, and documentation. Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment. Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve processes and reduce scrap. About You High school diploma or GED required; machining certification preferred. Experience operating CNC lathes; setup experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and interpret basic GD&T. Knowledge of Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar CNC controls.
