Quality Manager

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function within our manufacturing operation in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing quality strategies that improve product performance, strengthen customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in quality systems, supplier quality, ISO standards, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing quality strategies that improve product performance, strengthen customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in quality systems, supplier quality, ISO standards, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all plant quality activities and initiatives to improve key quality metrics, reduce cost of poor quality, and ensure customer satisfaction. Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and systems that support business objectives, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Establish and monitor quality performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring goals are effectively translated into actionable improvement plans. Manage customer quality concerns, nonconformances, and corrective actions while balancing customer expectations with business risk and warranty considerations. Drive compliance with ISO standards, identify gaps in quality management systems, and lead training and continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization. Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve process reliability, product quality, and operational performance. Oversee supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, audits, performance monitoring, and corrective action management. Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions. Recruit, develop, mentor, and manage members of the quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry requirements. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience managing quality systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working knowledge of ISO standards and quality management system implementation. Experience with supplier quality management, corrective action processes, and root cause analysis. Demonstrated leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Longview, TX. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
