Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with eligibility to practice in the state
• Experience or comfort working within a school-based setting
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
• Commitment to creating a positive, supportive environment for students of varying backgrounds and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor skills and develop appropriate treatment strategies
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with school staff and families to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning efforts
• Consult and support teachers and staff regarding adaptive equipment and accessibility within the school setting
