Personal Banker

Position Overview Personal Banker in the Retail Branch organization based at the Military Circle branch in Norfolk, VA. The position is in‑office and focuses on delivering excellent customer service and fostering an inclusive work environment. Job Description Essential duties include: Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing and identifying appropriate PNC solutions. Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community Centers of Influence to grow customers’ share of wallet. Drive proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions through technology, tools and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively. Manage risk by adhering to all policies and procedures and demonstrating sound judgment. Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years of related retail banking experience. Demonstrated skills in customer focus, risk management, proactive sales, technology adoption, and multi‑priority management. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and partner collaboration abilities. Pay Transparency Base salary: $41,250 – $68,750. Salary may vary by location, market data, skills, experience, and education. The position is incentive‑eligible, with payment based on company, business, and individual performance.
