Position Medication Partner Location Vitalia Mentor, 8180 Mentor Hills Dr, Mentor, OH 44060 Pay Starting wage: $21 per hour Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday 7:00am to 11:00am Responsibilities Advocate of Empathy: understand importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments. Ensure proper administration of medication. Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping. Proactive with assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. Appropriately certified per state guidelines; certification must be active and in good standing. High school diploma or equivalent. Professional appearance and conduct. Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents. Positive and energetic attitude toward residents. Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents. Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping all day. Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds. Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and assist after a fall. Criminally cleared. Good health and physically and mentally capable; health screening required within 6 months prior or 7 days post employment; TB test required.
