Legal Professional for AI Model Training [Remote]

Help train next-generation AI systems by contributing original, expert-authored legal documents that demonstrate deep legal analysis, issue spotting, and practical drafting skill. This role centers on producing detailed, well-structured legal materials that include multimodal elements such as tables, figures, or charts, so AI models learn from genuine human reasoning and technical depth. No prior experience in AI is required, domain legal expertise is the priority.

About the organization: micro1 is an AI data lab that transforms subject matter expertise into high-quality training data and evaluations to improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform.

• Author and deliver professional legal documents in PDF or Word format, including memos, case analyses, contracts, policy papers, and similar materials.
• Ensure materials are original, not copied from the internet, and not synthetically generated.
• Include technical detail and multimodal elements such as tables, charts, or diagrams to illustrate analysis.
• Produce documents across a range of lengths and types, ideally contributing items in the 10 to 100 page range to reflect real-world legal work.
• Demonstrate strong legal analysis and issue spotting in all submissions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and awareness of privilege and data privacy when creating and sharing materials.
• Participate in feedback cycles to clarify content or improve the utility of documents for AI training.
• Provide clear written updates and, when requested, verbal explanations or context about submitted materials.

• Required skills: legal analysis and issue spotting, strong legal writing, document drafting experience, and awareness of confidentiality and privilege.
• Preferred backgrounds: practising lawyer, legal researcher, compliance consultant, or other legal professional with hands-on drafting experience.
• Proven history of producing high-quality legal documents such as memos, case briefs, contracts, or policy analyses.
• Experience incorporating tables, diagrams, or other modalities into legal documents.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for project correspondence and feedback cycles.
• Experience in compliance, policy, or specific legal domains such as intellectual property, regulatory, or corporate law is an asset.
