Legal Professional for AI Training [Remote]

Role Overview

Apply your legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through original, expert-authored legal materials. Your work will provide nuanced, responsible real-world input that helps models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit professionally structured, original legal documents, including PDFs or Word documents with textual analysis, tables, charts, or diagrams.
• Provide materials such as legal memos, case analyses, contracts, case briefs, and policy papers that demonstrate genuine legal insight and technical depth.
• Ensure all submissions are original, are not sourced from the internet, and are not synthetically generated.
• Demonstrate strong legal analysis, issue spotting, and document drafting through each submission.
• Contribute a variety of document types and lengths, ideally ranging from 10 to 100 pages, reflecting real-world legal work.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and protect privileged information in all materials and communications.
• Participate in feedback cycles to clarify content or improve the usefulness of materials for AI training.
• Provide clear written and verbal project updates, context, and explanations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a practicing lawyer, legal researcher, compliance consultant, or other legal professional with hands-on legal analysis and document drafting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality legal documents, including memos, case briefs, contracts, or policy analyses.
• Strong legal writing skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts accurately and clearly.
• Experience incorporating tables, diagrams, or other visual elements into legal documents.
• Strong awareness of confidentiality obligations, privilege, and data privacy in legal practice and document sharing.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in compliance, policy, or legal specialties such as intellectual property, regulatory, or corporate law is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $20 to $40 per hour.
