Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe. Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident. Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives. Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services. Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working. Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client. Promote and participate in Safety Programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of coal-handling operations, coal-yard maintenance, industrial housekeeping, and material-handling practices Knowledge of coal-handling equipment, including conveyors, crushers, feeders, hoppers, screens, transfer points, and coal-yard equipment. Knowledge of safe work practices around conveyors, rotating equipment, mobile equipment, heavy machinery, and electrical systems. Strong crew leadership and supervision skills Ability to assign and coordinate daily work for laborers Ability to lead and supervise a labor crew safely and efficiently Ability to monitor crew productivity and adjust work assignments as conditions change #J-18808-Ljbffr Bristol Bay Industrial LLC
