Payroll Specialist
Salary: $26–$30/hr.
Location: Sarasota, FL – On-Site

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:
- Process accurate, on‑time semi‑monthly payroll for ~180 employees using Paycor
• Manage 403B retirement contributions and related compliance
• Reconcile payroll data, process reimbursements, and administer stipends
• Prepare payroll reports and support journal entry preparation
• Assist with administrative, HR and finance projects during payroll downtime
Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:
- 3–5 years of hands‑on payroll experience (single‑state; salaried & hourly)
• Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals (AP/AR, debits & credits)
• Attention to detail, professional communication skills and a “work hard, play hard” approach
