Counsel - North Shore, MA - Alternative Asset Manager (Private Equity & Credit) Our team is working with a leading alternative asset management firm with a focus on Private Equity & Credit, looking to hire a Counsel to their growing team. This role provides strategic legal support across complex transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund-related documents such as subscription materials and side letters. The position partners closely with the investment team to assess legal and regulatory risks during due diligence and helps manage relationships with outside counsel. It also involves monitoring regulatory developments, supporting compliance efforts, and collaborating with the CCO to evaluate and strengthen risk management controls. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in private equity or investment management law, strong knowledge of fund structures, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment. If you are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to Vincenzo Kulturides directly at View email address on click.appcast.io Responsibilities Provide strategic legal support for complex transactions across all entities Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and documents, including fund documents, side letters, and subscription materials Support the investment team by evaluating legal and regulatory due diligence in the deal process Manage and coordinate relationships with outside counsel Monitor regulatory and policy developments affecting the industry and provide updates as necessary Provide general legal support on matters and issues as needed Partner with CCO to evaluate risk management controls Qualifications JD and active MA bar membership Strong academic credentials 7-10 years of experience in the private equity/investment management group at a law firm or relevant in-house experience Strong working knowledge of private fund structures (e.g., 3(c)(7) drawdown vehicles) and publicly registered RIC funds, including related operational, compliance, and reporting considerations #J-18808-Ljbffr Daley And Associates, LLC
