Pay may vary by location; for this position, the annual base salary target range is $25 - $30/hr, with potential eligibility for bonuses or commission depending on the role.Position Summary:Perform tests and/or measurement tasks for the Dynamics department. Dynamics: The branch of mechanics that deals with motion of systems under action of forces usually from outside the system.Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipmentPerform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent dataData Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program ManagerLab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing suppliesOther - Perform other duties as assignedCore Requirements:Under general supervision; completes intermediate technical and mechanical procedures, regularly interacts with clients, troubleshoots and reworks standard tests. Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test resultsComprehensive knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & Dynamics principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices; basic understanding of AC/DC circuitsAble to use all standard Dynamics equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data; basic MS Office skillsBasic MS Office skillsMinimum Education and Experience:HS Diploma or GED; AA or AS degree preferred.2-6 Years of experienceWorking Conditions:Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noisesPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
