Position Summary We are seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in developing innovative solutions for new products and improving our existing product lines. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, with exposure to or interest in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) processes, prototype development, and New Product Introduction (NPI). This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, hands on mechanical skills, and a willingness to learn manufacturing lines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products, with guidance from senior team members as needed. Support the product development lifecycle from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and into production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to help integrate mechanical designs into production lines. Apply hands on mechanical experience to help troubleshoot and solve engineering problems. Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design files, assembly instructions, and test reports. Contribute to continuous improvement practices that enhance product performance and manufacturing processes. Stay curious about industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and bring fresh ideas to the team. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 0-4 years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on mechanical engineering and OEM processes. Some hands on experience in mechanical design, prototyping, or product development, whether through coursework, internships, or professional roles. Familiarity with manufacturing processes; direct experience working on manufacturing lines is a plus. Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) or an interest in bringing products from concept to market. Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with engineering tools for design and simulation. Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management systems is a plus, but not required. Solid skills in technical documentation, including creating and maintaining engineering drawings and specifications.
