Senior Cost Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for a candidate to fill a full-time Senior Cost Accountant job located in the Houston TX area. Houston-based job is the largest manufacturing company in its field and is looking for a candidate with 5-plus years of standard cost accounting experience and/or manufacturing experience. Job Duties: Month-end close procedures. Ensure standard costing is recorded accurately. Prepare monthly accruals and target costing projects. Perform monthly variance analysis. Perform balance sheet reconciliations of inventory accounts. Calculation and maintenance of inventory reserves Preparation and posting of journal entries. Assist in reporting and execution of branches cycle count / physical inventory. Qualifications: 5 plus years of cost accounting experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Employment Type: Full Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
