Med-Scribe is partnering with a successful non-profit healthcare organization to identify a compassionate and experienced ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) Psychiatrist who is passionate about mental health. In this role, the Psychiatrist will provide oversight of the clinical NP staff. Duties to include: answering questions related to treatment, assisting with documentation review, and supporting staff in the program.

Requirements

\n
• Medical degree (MD or DO)
\n
• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry within the applicable jurisdiction.
\n
• Completion of a ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) -accredited residency program
\n
• ASAM Certification
\n
• Familiarity with hospital environments, inpatient experience, crisis management protocols, and behavioral health treatments.
\n
• Proficiency in medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare diagnosis procedures.
\n
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive patient care.
