About the Position

Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist to provide outpatient locum coverage in Rochester, New York . This full-time assignment offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality dermatologic care in a collaborative outpatient setting. Physicians with experience in minor dermatologic procedures are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
• See approximately 25–35 patients per day in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform skin examinations, biopsies, and other office-based dermatology procedures.
• Perform minor dermatologic surgeries, if qualified and interested.
• Document patient encounters using Epic EMR .
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Float to an additional clinic location as needed.

Working Hours

• Assignment Duration: 26 Weeks
• Start Date: October 5, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: None
• Primary practice location in Rochester with occasional support at a nearby clinic.

Requirements

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified in Dermatology (Highly Preferred).
• Active New York Medical License or pending NY license accepted.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Dermatology experience.
• Recent Epic EMR experience is required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Strong procedural skills and excellent patient communication.
