About the Position

Description

We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant for a full-time locum assignment in Rochester, New York . The provider will work in an outpatient dermatology setting with potential floating to another nearby location. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no call.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatology care.
• Evaluate and treat approximately 25–35 patients per day .
• Perform dermatologic assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Manage follow-up visits and ongoing dermatologic conditions.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical support staff.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and skin care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR .
• Provide coverage at the primary dermatology location with potential floating to Linden Oaks as needed.

Working Hours

• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 26 weeks / approximately 6 months
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Full-time coverage
• No Call
• Potential floating to Linden Oaks .

Requirements

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant.
• Board Certified required.
• Active New York PA License in hand required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience required.
• Recent Epic EMR experience required .
• BLS certification required.
• Recent dermatology/APP experience preferred.
• Must have an updated work history with no unexplained gaps of 30+ days.
• If malpractice is involved, a physician statement is required.
