Job Summary As a Dining Services Manager you will lead a team of food service professionals, oversee overall service in the main dining room and special functions, and maintain interdepartmental relations to integrate the dining service department within an acute care setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee dining services operations of a medium to large volume location. Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner. Assist with profit and loss and budgeting for the account. Collaborate with the Chef and management team to create menus and ensure top‑quality food. Lead meal services in a seated dining room setting, including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and all facility‑related activities. Help roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams. Prepare quarterly reports for client presentation. Work with marketing and culinary departments to increase sales through innovation and quality improvements. Communicate with culinary department to align food programs with company vision. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of food service management experience. Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related operations. Waited table and catering experience preferred. Knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills. Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet navigation. ServSafe Certification preferred. Associate’s degree preferred.
