Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The schedule consists of Day 3x12-Hour shifts, with variable day and evening shifts required. Night shifts are not needed.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a critical access hospital setting. The role includes triage, assessment, and treatment of patients with various conditions in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for emergency cases, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with ER physicians and interdisciplinary teams in providing care.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience, with charge experience preferred.
• Current RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS, PALS required.
