Manager, Corporate Strategy

The Team The Strategy and Corporate Development team is a small and elite team responsible for Mattel’s overall corporate strategy. Their day‑to‑day responsibilities include strategic planning, M&A and corporate development, and strategic projects. The Opportunity Mattel is currently seeking a Manager to join the Strategy and Corporate Development team at our El Segundo, CA headquarters. Each member of this high‑performing team plays a key role in shaping the future of Mattel. What Your Impact Will Be Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and broader leadership team to shape Mattel’s corporate strategy and lead the annual strategic planning process. Partner closely with senior executives across the company on critical strategic projects, including leading cross‑functional teams to realize business impact. Support key M&A and corporate development priorities across the company. What We’re Looking For BA / BS degree from a top‑tier university. 7+ years of total professional experience (5+ with an MBA) with 2+ years of post‑MBA or equivalent work experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or in‑house strategy. Track record of impact. Proven strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work successfully in cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder groups. Superior communication skills. Preferred Qualifications MBA or equivalent advanced degree. Consumer, Tech, and / or Entertainment industry experience. Pay range is indicative of the projected hiring range. Base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills, and experience.
