Respiratory Therapist

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 18:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: CRT or RRT Certifications: ACLS and BLS Must-Have: ICU Experience Description: Weekend shifts will be required depending on staffing needs. There are no call requirements. Scheduling patterns vary based on unit needs, but we strive to provide reasonable schedules. The unit has a total of 368 beds and 34 staff members. Patient ratios are 36:1. Types of equipment used include V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, and AIRVO. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Key skills include ABG, Ventilator management, Nitric management, Bronchoscopy, Intubation assistance, and Nebulizer therapy. Candidates with CVICU experience and nitric skills will be prioritized. The best personality fit is a team player. Floating may be required in all areas of the hospital. Dress code consists of black scrubs. Rotating weekends are part of the schedule.
