We hope you’ll join us and see what the smiling pink whale is all about.Overview:The Public Relations Manager provides support to the Director of Public Relations (PR) by developing and managing key fashionable and print/online editorial relationships that support the vision and business objectives of vineyard vines.Key Responsibilities:Work in partnership with the Director of Public Relations to drive fashion editorial coverage in print and onlineBuild and foster strong relationships with the media on national and regional levelsDevelop PR initiatives that increase brand exposure and product awarenessDevelop and execute press strategies for seasonal feature stories, special events and company projects in addition to product focusesOversee all vineyard vines sample requests for National & Regional Print and Digital titlesCollaborate with agency and internal teams to plan and execute brand, editor and influencer eventsManage, develop and maximize the potential of the PR teamPartner with advertising and marketing, wholesale and retail areas to support communication alignment and ensure consistency of messagesCoordinate press + influencer events and collection previews in regard to press and influencer attendance, correspondence and invitationsLead seasonal product walkthrough with editors, identify editorial trends and competitive market information and relate pertinent feedback to key partnersProvide support to licensee and collaboration partners for seasonal press presentations and/or product launchesTrack relevant departmental budget expensesWhat You Bring:5+ years of PR or agency experienceRobust network of media and editorial relationships within the fashion, apparel and lifestyle industryAbility to work on competing priorities at the same timeAble to work with different teams and personalities, and find ways to compromise and do what’s best for the business.Excellent communication skills and innovative strategistProficient in Google suite (Excel, Slides, Word)Strong attention to detailNatural eye for fashion and styleAbility to make decisions based both on “art and science”Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and able to be nimbleEvery Day Will Feel This Good Because:We have a fun-spirited entrepreneurial culture filled with truly “good” peopleWe offer a generous employee discount so you can rep our lifestyle on-and-off the boatWe offer a competitive salary package, 401-K, commuter benefits, and paid-family leave, health savings, flex spending accounts, life & disability insuranceWe have an onsite gym as well as health & financial wellness programs to keep you activeWe offer 2 summer Fridays to take off in addition to a competitive vacation policy & holiday calendarJob SummaryRequisition Number: PUBLI Job Category: ManagerSchedule: Full-Time
