US Tax Compliance Director

Leading US tax operations, the full-time salaried Head of US Tax will manage compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, oversee tax reporting activities, and support strategic tax planning initiatives in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of US income tax returns and manage property and franchise tax filings Lead responses to tax audits and inquiries while monitoring changes in US tax legislation and assessing business impacts Collaborate with finance, HR, and external advisors to ensure compliance and provide practical tax advice on business transactions Required qualifications Degree educated and/or CTA, ACA, or equivalent Significant US tax experience, particularly in corporate income tax compliance and reporting Strong knowledge of US federal and multi-state taxation Experience in a multinational organization with international tax considerations Familiarity with ERP systems and an interest in tax technology and automation initiatives
