Social Media Manager (Hybrid)

This role is part of a bold, fast‑moving team focused on helping small businesses thrive. The Social Media Manager will build and scale Homebase's organic social presence. Key Responsibilities Own the content calendar end‑to‑end, coordinate content development across internal and external teams, and develop content yourself. Ensure all content is briefed, scheduled, and published on time. Develop native content for Instagram and TikTok from concept through posting, staying ahead of platform trends. Build and manage relationships with customers and creators to generate authentic content. Be the voice of Homebase in comments, monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions to drive engagement and create community. Track and report on engagement metrics, surfacing insights that inform content decisions. Work closely with the Creative team on quality content and share best‑performing content with Growth for paid social campaigns. Required Experience & Skills 3–5 years managing organic social media for a consumer or SMB brand, with a portfolio that demonstrates creative content and measurable engagement growth. Comfortable creating your own Instagram and TikTok content—shooting, designing, editing, and publishing. Experience managing creator or customer relationships end‑to‑end, with familiarity with influencer management platforms. Strong organizational skills for managing a high‑volume content calendar across multiple contributors and deadlines. Analytical mindset and ability to pull reports from social analytics tools and translate metrics into actionable recommendations. Enthusiasm for AI tools and incorporating them into workflows. Builder mentality: energized by creating systems and workflows from scratch, operating with ambiguity, moving fast when direction is set.
