You'll work closely with our doctors, clinical team, and administrative team to help patients navigate their care and keep the experience organized, welcoming, and seamless.Your responsibilities will include:Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impressionScheduling and coordinating patient appointmentsManaging patient records and maintaining accurate informationHandling phone calls and patient questions with confidence and professionalismCoordinating closely with the clinical team to keep patient care moving smoothlyVerifying dental insurance benefits and helping patients understand their coverageDiscussing treatment-related financial information and assisting with collectionsHelping patients understand their options and navigate the administrative side of their careSupporting a positive patient experience from scheduling through completion of careWho We're Looking ForExperience is preferred.We are especially interested in candidates with previous experience in front-office or other patient-facing healthcare rolesYou should be someone who:Communicates exceptionally well with patients and coworkersIs comfortable discussing insurance, treatment, and financial mattersIs organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesTakes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to doIs dependable, professional, and confident in a patient-facing environmentWorks well as part of a teamLearns quickly and adapts well to new systems and processesUnderstands that excellent patient care includes both the clinical experience and everything surrounding itAn associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is a plus, but relevant experience and transferable skills matter most.ScheduleThis is a part-time position, with full-time hours available for the right candidate. We're willing to be flexible for an exceptional candidate.The position requires working on-site at our various Ann Arbor locations.
