Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, field repairs, and major equipment overhauls, including filters, bearing and component replacements
• Use hand tools, power tools, and sandblasters to dismantle broken equipment and clean grease, rust, or debris from pump interiors and exteriors
• Inspect machinery using precision tools like dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers to check wear and tolerances
• Communicate effectively with customers and shop personnel proper protocols needed to maintain customer equipment for preventative maintenance plans
• Work as a team with coordinators and other field service technicians to troubleshoot equipment


Qualifications of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:
• Experience working with rotating equipment, HVAC, or other industrial equipment
• Ability to travel to customer sites
• Effective communication
• Background check, physical, and drug test required
• Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines

Working Conditions : Field Service


Training/Certifications : Forklift certification preferred


Shift Time/Overtime : M-F 7:30 - 4:30


Travel : Some travel required, mostly Southern Louisiana


Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
