QA Manual Tester - Corporate Actions | Middle Office

Role Overview

This role supports the implementation and integration of a new corporate actions platform within a large financial services environment. The tester will focus on manual testing to validate system connectivity, data quality, and endtoend processing across multiple integrated applications. This position works closely with business, technology, and project teams throughout onboarding, testing cycles, and postgolive support, primarily within a middleoffice corporate actions function

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing to validate functionality, configuration, and integration across multiple interconnected applications supporting corporate actions processing
• Test messaging connectivity and data quality, including inbound corporate action notifications and downstream system feeds
• Validate endtoend corporate action workflows, including events requiring client elections and the generation of outbound instructions to thirdparty systems
• Create, execute, and document test cases and scenarios; support test environment setup and test data identification
• Update Jira tickets, track defects, and collaborate with business analysts and other testers during agile delivery cycles
• Document processes and procedures related to the new application and assist with knowledge transfer or training as needed
• Participate in production support following golive, assisting with issue triage and resolution

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years+ of handson QA or manual testing experience, preferably within banking, financial services, or middleoffice environments
• Experience testing system integrations, messaging connectivity, and data flows across multiple applications
• Experience using Jira or similar tools for test execution, defect tracking, and documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across business and technology teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• General corporate actions experience; familiarity with platforms such as S&P IM Actions is a plus.
• Experience working in a large banking or financial services organization.
• Exposure to agile delivery, story writing, or projectbased testing initiatives

Additional Details

• This is a contract role with the potential for conversion based on performance and budget.
• Internal training will be provided in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• The role involves close collaboration with Business Analyst, PMO, Development, and Business teams.
