This position gives you the platform to elevate your technical capabilities while building a long-term, rewarding career.\n\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\n\n Perform on-site startup, diagnostics, and high-precision repairs for commercial refrigeration equipment.\n Recondition equipment in the shop and maintain strict quality standards on all shop assignments.\n Operate digital and mechanical control circuits to troubleshoot complex low-temperature systems.\n Maintain accurate service documentation, including work orders, mileage tracking, and warranty paperwork.\n Manage company vehicle inventory to ensure tools and replacement parts are always job-ready.\n Execute weekend on-call coverage on a rotating schedule to resolve urgent customer service needs.\n Collaborate with field operations team members to maintain high customer satisfaction standards.\n\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience:\n\n At least 3-5 years of commercial refrigeration experience.\n Valid Driver's License with a clean 5-year driving record.\n Active EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.\n Proven mechanical and technical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.\n High School Diploma or GED equivalent.\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience:\n\n Experience working with low-temperature refrigeration systems using R404a and R452a refrigerants.\n Working knowledge of both digital and mechanical control circuits.\n Previous experience servicing commercial refrigeration or foodservice equipment; experience with frozen dessert or similar specialty equipment is a plus.\n Refrigeration experience combined with electrical troubleshooting knowledge is a strong plus.\n\n\nCompensation & Benefits:\n\n 401(k) retirement savings program with employer matching.\n Weekly pay cycle and overtime availability.\n Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.\n Paid time off covering holidays, vacation, and sick leave.\n Holiday Bonus\n Provided tech package, including a smartphone or tablet for field logistics.\n Ongoing technical, manufacturer, and safety training\n Dedicated company vehicle and uniforms provided.\n\n\nAbout Us: Electro Freeze Distributors of NYC INC is a family-owned and operated company specializing in the distribution and service of commercial refrigeration and ice cream equipment.
