Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EKG/Cardiac Monitoring Respiratory assessment and support Medication titration Description: Located in a region serving multiple cities. The facility has 111 beds and provides various services including emergency care, family medicine, orthopedic and joint replacements, obstetrics, internal medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, lab services, and diagnostic imaging. This is a teaching hospital with 16 private rooms on the unit. Patient ratios are 1:4 with accommodations for 1:3 based on acuity. The patient population includes geriatric and adult individuals. Common diagnoses include alcohol detoxification, post-percutaneous coronary intervention, diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiac conditions, and gastrointestinal issues. The unit requires two weekend shifts every two-week pay period. The role may involve floating to other areas as needed. Candidates should possess skills in rhythm interpretation or related training. Standard dress code is scrubs with no designated color. Unprofessional attire is not acceptable. The organization values a collaborative and supportive environment for all staff members.
